KlezKolorado is a weekend-long celebration of Klezmer music, Yiddish culture, creativity, and Jewish community in the heart of Denver. Centering local and nationally recognized Klezmer artists, the festival brings together concerts, workshops, cultural experiences, and opportunities to connect with fellow music lovers and Yiddishists. We celebrate the vibrant Klezmer revival happening across Denver, Boulder, and beyond while creating a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds to gather, learn, and celebrate together. As a queer-led and queer-centered festival, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone belongs.

Hosted at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center at the JCC Denver, KlezKolorado transforms one of the city’s premier cultural destinations into a lively hub of music, learning, and celebration. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy inspiring performances, hands-on workshops, participatory music sessions, dancing, delicious food, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to build community—all conveniently located in one place. With ample free parking and a central Denver location, the festival makes it easy to experience everything KlezKolorado has to offer, whether you join us for a single concert or immerse yourself in the full weekend of programming.

Once your registration has been processed, full payment is due at the time of registration. No refunds will be provided once payment has been made, including for illness and COVID positivity.

Tickets and passes are available on a sliding scale base - more information below. Tickets are only transferable with permission from the KlezKolorado leadership.

Ticket Descriptions:

WEEKEND PASS: This option will get you access to all events (workshops, food and concerts) throughout the weekend.
CONCERT PASS: This option will get you access to both evening concerts.

The Mizel Arts and Culture Center is an ADA-accessible venue. Accessible seating will be available for this event. If you require additional accommodations, please contact the event organizer in advance.

The sliding scale pricing model allows the JCC Denver to offer programming that is accessible to anyone regardless of their access to wealth. Everyone deserves to be able to participate! Participants are asked to be honest in evaluating their own circumstances and self-selecting the pricing tier that is right for them. In short, you should select a pricing tier based on the simplified criteria below.

Hardship Pricing: if you struggle to meet basic needs (rent, food, transportation, etc.) 
Tier 1: If you stress about basic needs, but rarely miss them.  
Tier 2: You are not worried about basic needs and have some expendable income. 
Tier 3: You maintain a high standard of living and have access to expendable income.
